MidiWriterPro for Series 60 FAQ Table of Contents
Why do my tempo/instrument settings not have any effect... ?If there are voice or tempo changes near the start of the MIDI file, these will make the default settings in the song setup and track setup properties seem to have no effect. You can use the events/tempo list views to delete any such events. Back to TopHow do I change the volume when playing... ?You can change the volume when playing using the * and # keys. If you have reconfigured the keys for decrease and increase note duration this will also change the keys used for changing volume. Back to TopWhy is there a *.mid.$$$ file... ?MidiWriterPro renames existing MIDI files with a .$$$ extension when saving over an existing file. The .$$$ file is then deleted if the save is successful. In the unlikely event that MidiWriterPro crashes while saving or the phone switches off or the battery falls out(!), then the original file can be recovered by opening the file with the .$$$ extension. It can then be re-saved and the .$$$ file deleted (by pressing 'C' in the file open dialog) Back to TopRevised: March 12, 2004 . |
